DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT:

Bangkok Bank PCL (BBL) has planned to provide loan for BSR JV investing on concessionaire contract of design, construction and operation of the Pink Line MRT Project and Yellow Line MRT Project in Bangkok, Thailand.  Therefore, BBL intends to engage the service of the Consultant as a Lender’s Technical Advisor (LTA) being a representative of the lending Bank to audit a project from the technical standpoint, to identify, mitigate and hedge the BBL’s risks with regards to the technical aspects of the construction and the operation.

International Engineering Consultants Co., Ltd. (IEC) which is an engineering consulting company providing consultancy services to various infrastructure development (including MRT, Expressway, Highway and etc.) is interested to provide BBL the service.

SCOPE OF SERVICES:

The specific scope the consultancy services for the referenced project is proposed for 2 stages, as follows:

• Design and construction Phase  
  • verification on the Progress Report issued by BSR: summary report, monthly progress reports during construction period (tentatively 39 months)
  • provide advices on various aspects of the Project, including cost overrun, confirm Project Completion Test
• Operation Phase
  • prepare the monthly operation reports
  • analyze financial status of each project compared with original plan
  • provide technical recommendation for remedial measures against problems and obstacles encountered in the project during operation phase
  • provide technical recommendation remedial to minimize risk of potential inability to service debt
