DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT:

CUEL limited aim to develop the soft silt pond as fabrication yard of the offshore structures for oil and gas exploration. Ground improvement technique is required in order to enhance the soil bearing capacity of soft silt layer underneath the developing yard. International Engineering Consultants Co.,Ltd as professional consultants firm was awarded to design the ground improvement technique using geogrid to meet the bearing capacity as required by project owner. The finite element analysis was carried out to such sophisticated issues to ensure the long term performance shall be function.
