DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT:

The Bang Bo Power Plant project requires the geotechnical instrumentation program to monitor earth movement behavior founded near existing road structures, and to provide an early warning of impending and/or critical failure, and time to implement remedial action.

SCOPE OF SERVICES:

• Supplied and installed the following instruments: Inclinometer to monitor magnitude and rate of ground movement in lateral direction; Vibrating Wire Piezometer to assess the insitu pore pressure distribution

• Monitoring and Report

• Interpretation of Instrument Data

KEY FACTORS:

• The monitoring results provide the early warning of impending and/or critical failure, and time to implement remedial action
