DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT:

Installation and monitoring instrumentation and CCTV system at Depot and 3 Park and Ride Buildings in MRT Purple Line Project to monitor construction performance and the effects of the construction that may induce harm to public.

SCOPE OF SERVICES:

• Supplied and installed the following instruments:
  • Inclinometer, to monitor magnitude and rate of ground movement in the lateral direction.
  • Piezometer (Vibrating Wire), to monitor pore-water pressure.
  • Observation Well, to monitor ground water level.
  • Magnetic Extensometer, to monitor soil and heave in excavations, foundations, shafts and sheet piles.
  • Shallow Settlement Marker, to monitor surface settlement.
• Monitoring work and interpretation report
• Impact assessment due to construction work

KEY FACTORS:

• The monitoring results are assessed how the construction can proceed without risk of failure and perform proper function in long term period.
• The monitoring results provide the early warning of impending and/or critical failure,
• Improve the remedial methodology.
